Fall Like Stars
By: Angela Amy
Lost in an ocean
Lost in the stars
Lost in the pain of my own prison
I can’t seem to wake
I’m running away
I’m far too gone to seek redemption
We’ll burn as we fall
Fall like stars
Shadows of ourselves
Lost where we are
I got ghosts in my pasts
Got nightmares now
We’ll burn as we fall
We’re not saved anyhow
I can’t seem to fight
Got nowhere to run
Crushed my hopes of life escaping
I want to fly
Just get away
Search for the piece that seems forsaken
We’ll burn as we fall
Fall like stars
Shadows of ourselves
Lost where we are
There’s ghosts in my past
And nightmares now
We’ll burn as we fall
I’m not saved anyhow
I got death at my door
Pain in my heart
I don’t know why I keep returning
I’ll find my way home
I swear that someday
I’ll find out why you’re so forgiving
We’ll burn as we fall
Fall like stars
Shadows of ourselves
Lost where we are
We’ll burn as we fall
Fall like stars
I found the piece that’s missing
It was never very far

As for the song itself, it's nice. It's like a neverending stairwell that is quite painful to traverse (as in going through life), but if you stop, you're good as dead anyway.

J.R.: Well, I have a very special feeling for your sister. I hate her.

It's incredibly deep and it fits Redemption beautifully. ... I think I can hear an alto sax playing a tune for this. It's an instument that can be mournful (like in the Dance in Miss Saigon). But maybe piano and oboe might be a better choice .. or even better, a shamissen (sp?). ... Yeah, I'm rambling.
